Department of Transportation 253 Webster Road Sylva, North Carolina 28779 Subject: Inspection-NCSR 1102 Pearson Falls Road DWQ Project 08-1020 TIP No. B-4239 Polk County Dear Mr. Setzer: On March 4, 2010, 1 inspected the construction work at the new bridge site on NCSR 1102, Pearson Falls Road in Polk County. Construction work has been slowed due to weather but the bridge deck has been poured. The erosion and sedimentation control structures, vegetative covering, and matting appear to be working properly. Please continue to ensure that all sediment and erosion control structures are maintained and that seeding and mulching are performed as needed to protect downstream waters.
