OR NE. =:) 18 (MINOR DISCHARGES FOR PROJECTS WITH LESS ,: SAN 10 CUBIC YA~,S ~F FTT,i~ TN t';~ATERS OR WETLANDS) , AND 2 3 (CATEGORICAL EXCLUSIONS This General Certification is ~ ssued in confo_.::ity with the requirements of Section 401, Public Laws 92-500 anc 95-217 of the United States and s~:bject to the North Carolina Di ~._sion of Environmental Manage.~ent Regulations in 15 NCAC 2H, Section .0500 and 15 NCAC 2B . 0109 and . 0201 for .the discharge o. f i ~ 1 material to waters and wetland areas which are waters of the United States as described i n 33 CSR 330 Appendix A (B) (3, 14, ~, 23~ of the Corps of Engineers regulations. Th_s Certificatio:: replaces Certification Numbe= 2745. The State of North Carolina certifies that the svecified category of activity will not violate Sections 301, 302, 303, 306 and 307 of the Publ i c Laws 92-500 a:~d 95-217 i f conducted in accordance with the conditions hereinafter set fors:. Conditions of Ce_tification: 1. These act_vities do not require writter~~c~ncurrence from the ~i vision of Environmental Manag -ent as long as they cc ~~ply with all c~~nditions of tr:_~ General Certlf 1Ca~ ~ On; 2. The use of Nationwide 23 (Categorical Excusions7 requires ~,ritten notification to DEM of t e extent of impact to waters and wetlands; 3. That established sediment and erosion control ractices p are utll~zed to prevent violations of the appropriate turbidity cater quality standard X50 NTUs in streams and rivers not designated as trout by DE?.; 25 NTUs in all saltwater classes, and all lakes and reservoirs; and 10 NTUs in trout waters) ; ~. 4 .
