A copy of the General Certification is attached. This Certification may be used in qualifying for coverage under Corps of Engineers' Nationwide Permit No. 14. STATE HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATOR SUBJECT: Lincoln County - Replacement of Bridge No. 163 on SR 1315 near Iron Station The North Carolina Department of Transportation proposes to replace the above-referenced structure on existing alignment, along with associated approach improvements. The existing bridge will be replaced with three 12' x 7' reinforced concrete box culverts. Stream relocation will not be necessary. The proposed work will involve fill in 0.01 acre of wetlands. The bridge is located on a stream with an average daily flow of 5.7 c.f.s. It is anticipated that the proposed project may be authorized under Nationwide Permit #14 for Minor Road Crossings, 33 CFR 330.5(3). Application is hereby made for a Department of the Army permit as required for such activities. A site map is enclosed for your records.
