Upon review of your request for Water Quality Certification
to place fill material in waters and wetlands for bridge
replacement located at Turnbull Creek in Cumberland County, we
have determined that the proposed fill can be covered by General
Water Quality Certification No. 2675 issued January 21, 1992. A
copy of the General Certification is attached.

The North Carolina Department of Transportation is
planning to replace Bridge Number 208 on SR 2046 over
Turnbull Creek in Cumberland County. Enclosed are six copies
of the application for a section 401 water quality
certification. We are also requesting Section 404 Individual
Permit from the US Army Corps of Engineers.
