On August 14, 2019, the Division of Water Resources (Division) received your application dated August
9, 2019, requesting a Major Variance to the Jordan Lake Buffer Rules (15A NCAC 02B .0267) for your
project. On March 13, 2020, the Division received a request from you to withdraw the above noted
application. This letter acknowledges your request; your application is withdrawn.
Please be aware that you have no authorization under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act or the Jordan
Lake Riparian Buffer Rules for this activity and any work done within waters of the state or within
protected buffers may be a violation of North Carolina General Statutes and Administrative Code.
