Church Streel Mail Code: SCUP Charlotte, NC28202 (980) 373-0408 Duke Energy is in receipt of the May 1, 2017 letter from the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) which requires an annual interim monitoring plan report for each of Duke Energy's 14 coal ash facilities. Per the DEQ May 1, 2017 letter, "The respective annual monitoring reports shall include figures, tables, cross -sections, maps and time -series plots in a manner that provides an integrated, comprehensive interpretation of site conditions and plume status." The next annual reports would be due on April 30, 2020 and address calendar year 2019. Duke Energy is also in receipt of the DEQ letter dated April 5, 2019 which provides a schedule for submittal of updated Comprehensive Site Assessments (CSAs) and Corrective Action Plans (CAPS) for all 14 of Duke Energy's coal ash facilities. Submittal of these documents will vary from December 2019 through October 1, 2020 and more than address the requirements of the annual monitoring reports.
