Subject: Neuse River Basin Riparian Rules
Weston Parkway
NBR-RRO- 28
Wake County
Dear Mr. Zarzecki:
On June 29, 1998, I conducted a site visit on Weston Parkway in Cary at your request.
This evaluation was performed to determine whether the site would require compliance
with the Neuse River Buffer Requirements. There are two streams on the property
which are subject to the Neuse Buffer Rule (15A NCAC 2B.0233). The map you
provided indicates these streams and you have indicted that a 50 foot riparian buffer will
be maintained (see attached map).
In addition, in accordance with the rule, concentrated runoff from new ditches or
manmade conveyances must be dispersed into sheet flow before the runoff enters Zone 2
of the riparian area.
If you have any questions please call this office at (919) 5714700.
Sincerely,
n
