Bamboo Road Quarry, Watauga County, ER 93-8621
We have received additional information concerning the above project from
Municipal Engineering Services in Boone.
Because of the location and topographic situation of the proposed project area, it
is unlikely that any archaeological sites which may be eligible for inclusion in the
National Register of Historic Places will be affected by the proposed borrowing.
We, therefore, recommend that no archaeological investigation be conducted in
connection with this project.
