I met with the Asst. Resident Engineer and inspectors onsite today, and NCDOT has
decided the old headwalls can be entirely removed. The excavation behind the old
headwalls will be brought down to 0.5' to meet adjacent wetland elevations and the
permit drawings. Water level today was 0.3', and is approximately what it was on
Tuesday at our field meeting.
