On behalf of the Town of Fuquay-Varina, Kimley-Horn is requesting a section 401 Water
Quality Certification for the NW Judd Parkway Extension project (NCDOT TIP # U-5317)
located in Fuquay-Varina. The proposed project will complete the loop around Fuquay-
Varina and will consist of new roadway construction that will begin at the intersection of
NC 55 with Wilbon Road (SR 1110)/NE Judd Parkway (SR 5056) and end at the
intersection of NC 42 with Southwest Judd Parkway (SR 2387). The proposed project will
impact a total of 273 linear feet of streams, 1.812 acres of wetlands, and 0.045 acres of
open waters. The impact numbers include both permanent and temporary impacts, so
please see the cover letter and permit impact drawings for a breakdown of the impacts.
The request package is attached to this email via ShareFile. The Water Quality
Certification Permitting Fee of $570.00 is being mailed to you overnight and will reach
you either tomorrow or next Monday.
