The City of Rocky Mount received you r letter regarding the review of DWQ 08-1058, Maple Creek
Interceptor Sewer. In response to your letter dated August 14, 2008, with regards to cumulative impacts,
the City of Rocky Mount commits to requiring on-site stormwater management measures (such as level
spreaders, riparian buffers, bioretention, or constructed wetlands) for any additional development on
parcels adjacent to this sewer outfall extension. In accordance with the City of Rocky Mount storm
water management program and design criteria as well as the Tar-Pamlico River Basin Riparian Buffer
Protection Rules and Nutrient Loading, all development will be required to meet stringent water quality
requirements.
