Dear Mr. Barnes,
The following letter and attached drawings are in reference to your letter dated March
24, 2008 requesting additional information and our meeting on site on May 27, 2008.
The proposed work will provide access to several lots from Radcliff Court in a
subdivision that was platted in the 1960's and is located in the Kitty Hawk Woods, Dare
County, North Carolina.
The enclosed drawing has been revised to show culverts at the wetland crossings
which will provide connective flow to the adjacent wetlands after the fill has been placed
in the wetlands.
The subject lots and right of way meet the requirements of a low density subdivision
and will not exceed 24% impervious coverage for the entire project area. Enclosed is a
spreadsheet with the allowable impervious surface areas for each lot and the supporting
calculations. After subtracting the road surface area(11,854 so from the total project
area(232,814 so the impervious coverage will not exceed 22% per lot as shown on
column D on the enclosed spreadsheet.
