APPROVAL OF REQUEST FOR EXTENSION OF NC EEP MITIGATION PAYMENT DUE DATE
Dear Mr. Bauer:
On November 26, 2007, the Division of Water Quality received a letter dated November 26, 2007, from
your agent, Robert Belcher, regarding an extension to the due date for payment to NC EEP for the above-
referenced project as required in Condition No. 8 of your 401 Water Quality Certification, issued to you on
November 19, 2007. You have requested that the due date for payment to NC EEP for the above-
referenced project be extended to 60 days from receipt of your 404 Permit for the above-referenced project
from the USACE. The DWQ will hereby grant this request.
This letter only addresses the granting of an extension to the due date for payment to NC EEP for the above-
referenced project as required in Condition No. 8 of your 401 Water Quality Certification and does not
authorize any impacts to wetlands, waters or protected buffers. Please be aware that any impacts requested
within your application are not authorized (at this time) by the DWQ. Please call Ms. Cyndi Karoly or Mr. Ian
McMillan at 919-733-1786 if you have any questions regarding or would like to set up a meeting to discuss
