Hi Sue,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
Attached are the plan sheets showing the two sewer crossings of Ticer Branch as noted in the IP Update Memo.
These sheets are now showing the installation of the sewer using an impervious dike in stages at each crossing location,
as requested, including detail sheets of said impervious dike usage.
The Applicant has ok'd this install methodology.
I hope this alleviates your concerns? Let me know if any further questions.
Thanks!
Kelly

Hi Kelly,
I'm concerned with the proposal to use a standard coffer dam dewatering specification to completely dewater Ticer
Branch (20 feet wide) while installing the sewer line using an open cut trench. My experience with utility installation
projects trying to open cut and dewater a channel of that size, especially in an urban setting, is not positive. Is it feasible
to propose a dewatering system that would only dewater % the channel at a time?

Hi Bryan and Sue,
Just wanted to drop a note that I will be going on parental leave somewhere around December 19tn
I'd love to be able to take care of this update modification prior to that and/or help with a request for additional information
or need for complicated discussion, if warranted.
Of course, I do respect the time you both need to review and that Thanksgiving is only next week!!
Let me know what I can do to facilitate anything you many need!
Thanks,
Kelly

Ms. Thames,
If the Water Quality Certification was issued prior to June 2020 and either revises the existing Water Quality Certification
or leaves the existing as is (no modification required), then the Corps can move forward with the Standard Permit
modification request. However, should NCDWR have to issue a new Water Quality Certification for the Standard Permit
modification, then the Corps would have to hold on issuing a modification to the Standard Permit based on recent
guidance from headquarters.
Thanks,

Good Morning Bryan and Sue,
I hope you are both well! Apologies if this came through to anyone and it's a duplicate email — I received many non -
deliverable emails the first time around.
Below is a link to a modification request to SAW-2019-01071 and DWR# 20001195 Ver 17 Individual Permit approvals for
the Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
2CLT IP Update Memo 2021.11.05 (SAW-2018-01071).pdf
In summary, there is a reduction of permanent impacts, an increase in temporary impacts, and the bringing forward of an
approved impact from a future phase to the current Phase I.
For the reduction of permanent impacts, CLT would like to request a mitigation refund (Charlotte Umbrella Bank said they
could do this upon agency approvals).
Please let me know if any questions and/or if any issues with access.
Thanks!
Kelly
