On May 16, 2011, Natalie Landry from the Raleigh Regional Office of the Division of Water Quality (DWQ)
conducted a site inspection for the tract known as Wal-Mart Store 4484-00, Raleigh Tri-Mall Site (also known as
Wal-Mart Supercenter Store No. 4484-00), 8031 Old Wake Forest Road, Wake County, North Carolina. The
stream on the site is an unnamed tributary to Perry Creek, Class C, Nutrient Sensitive Waters (NSW), in the
Neuse River Basin.
Wal-Mart has satisfactorily met all the Requested Response Items in the Notice of Violation (NOV) issued by
DWQ on December 10, 2009.
