Foreman PO Box 162 Bath, NC Subject Property: Coleen H. Sullins Director Foreman property UT to Pineygrove Branch; Tar-Pamlico River Basin On-Site Determination for Applicability to the Tar-Pamlico River Riparian Area Protection Rules (15A NCAC 2B .0259) Dear Mr. Foreman: At your request I conducted an on-site determination to review a drainage feature located on the subject property for applicability to the Tar-Pamlico Buffer Rules (15A NCAC 2B .0259). The project area is labeled as "2008-1497" on the attached map initialed by me on February 14, 2011. The project is located on the east side of Corsica Road (SR 1518), approximately 0.4 miles north of the intersection of Corsica Road and Slatestone Road (SR 1507) The Division of Water Quality (DWQ) has determined that the portion of the surface water circled, highlighted in blue, and labeled as 112008-1497" on the attached map is at least intermittent and is SUBJECT to the Tar-Pamlico Buffer Rule. The portion of the feature highlighted in orange is also at least intermittent, but as it does not show on either version of the required maps, this feature is NOT SUBJECT to the Tar-Pamlico Buffer Rule. These features and their associated buffers should be identified on any future plans for this property. The owner (or future owners) should notify the DWQ (and other relevant agencies) of this decision in any future correspondences concerning this property. This on-site determination shall expire five (5) years from the date of this letter.
