S. 52 and Highway 64. References: 1. Map prepared by Kale Engineering, titled Erosion Control Plan For Childress Properties LLC, dated 5/23/01, numbered 2000028m and revised on 9/19/02. 2. Pre-Construction Notification (PCN) Form. 3. Check for $ 200.00. Fie" Dear Mr. Todd Saint John, Accompanying this letter are 7 copies of the reference 1 map, 7 copies of the reference 2 form, and the reference 3 check. It is the property owner's intent to obtain permission to place 2 pipe crossings, a temporary rock dam, and a temporary sediment trap in the wetland ditch. The pipe crossings are needed to provide access across the drainageway to the Northern portion of the property and will be used by farm equipment and logging equipment. The temporary rock dam and temporary sediment trap are needed to keep sediment from leaving the site during the clearing and grubbing of this site. When the site has been stabilized, the temporary sediment trap and temporary rock dam will be removed. The owner wants to clear and grub the site and plant vineyards on the property near the wetlands. At this point in time, they plan to use this land for agriculture. The owner is also developing some property just South of the wetlands area for a commercial development, but that development is not involved with these wetlands. The enclosed copies of the reference i map have been "marked up" to assist you in understanding our owner's intentions. We are also in the process of applying to the Army Corps of Engineers for the Nationwide Section 404 Permit 14. Please review the reference 1 plans and the reference 2 form and let me know what you think Thank you for your assistance in this matter. It is appreciated. Sincerely, Randall G. Kale, P.E., P.L.S.
