Sullins Director November 12, 2009 Subject: Inspection-US Highway 64 DWQ Project 08-0396 TIP No. A-001 I BB Clay County Dear Mr. Setzer: Dee Freeman Secretary On October 21, 2009, I inspected the construction work on US Highway 64 in Clay County and the project appeared to be in good shape. Construction work consists of heavy grading. The erosion and sedimentation control structures, vegetative covering, and matting appear to be working properly. Please continue to ensure that all sediment and erosion control structures are maintained and that seeding and mulching are performed as needed to protect downstream waters. Pipe and culvert installation is complete. Grading is continuing with new areas under construction. Sediment and erosion control structures appear to be working properly. Seeding and/or matting should be performed as areas are graded. Some slope and bare areas need to be seeded.
