Dear Sir Cassavant:
This office has reviewed the information submitted on November 22, 2000
relevant to the subject property and I conducted a site visit for the above
referenced project on November 22, 2000. It was determined that the drainage
feature depicted on the USGS and Wake County Soils is a stormwater
(ephemeral) channel and therefore not subject to the Neuse River Basin: Nutrient
Sensitive Waters Management Strategy; Protection and Maintenance of Existing
Riparian Areas, Administrative Code -T15A:02B.0233 (NCAC 0233). Therefore
there rules do not apply to the construction of a deck on this lot.
