Riparian Buffer Rules

On July 28, I met with you at the subject properties to conduct site visits for the
above referenced projects. The features represented on the Wake County Soils Maps
were evaluated to determine their subjectivity to the Neuse Buffer Rule.
On the Golf Course Tract it was determined that feature G, became at least
intermittent 40 to 50 feet from the edge of the CP & L right-of-way (flagged during the
site visit). The feature in the old field near "B", became at least intermittent 60 feet 4 1.
North of flag # 255.254.
On the Ostrich Farm it was determined that the feature below the pond became at
least intermittent near flag # 192. The feature near WELL # 2, draining the "wet area"
became at least intermittent near flag # 44.
The above features are subject to protection under the Neuse River Basin:
Nutrient Sensitive Waters Management Strategy; Protection and Maintenance of
Existing Riparian Areas, Administrative Code T15A:02B.0233(NCAC 0233).
This letter only addresses the applicability of the Neuse Buffer Rules. Thank you
