In accordance with Industrial JEormwaier Permit iNCS000549) Duke Energy is requesting approval to add
a new sEorm zter (SW 018) outfall to the existing permit rnot will discharee to the intake canal at
Mountain Island EaRe. i he ti, ainare area for the new outfall will incluse a total of 8.8 acres. It will
primarily include runoff from the su0srarion pad which will be collected using a nerworR of catch basins
anti storm ar.ins and subsequently conveyed to the detention basin and then discharged through Elle
new outfall.
This outfall will also include storm arainoee from some of the rail line improvements as well as
miscellaneous storm water from the Powerhouse tnat ..as previously directed to outfall UCLA.
