On August 29, 1990, I inspected the above facility for compliance
with the Administrative order on Consent, Docket #89-072 and a
routine CEI. My findings are as follows:

4. Facility Description
central Transport, Inc. operates as a ttucking terminal and a
tractor trailer tank washing facility. In the past water from
tanks washing was discharged into the three lagoons. Currently
all tank wash water goes through a waste water treatment unit
then into the Charlotte sewer system. At the time of this
inspection the lagoons contained water and sludge. The lagoons
went out of service in approximately 1985.
The facility is a conditionally exempt small quantity generator
of hazardous waste. Waste is mainly generated from the clean

The facility is not currently engaged in the storage, treatment,
disposal, transportation or generator of hazardous waste. They
are in the beginning stages of cleaning up three lagoons and any
resulting ground water contamination.
