On April 12, 2012,the North Carolina Department of Environmental and Natural Resources (DENR) Brownfields
Program received the revised Brownfields Redevelopment Notification Letter Rev 1 prepared by S&ME, Inc. for the
above referenced brownfields property. This document was submitted in accordance with the Notice of Brownfields
Property recorded on August 7, 2007. This document specifically addresses Land Use Restriction Number 2 requiring a
vapor barrier and/or mitigation plan. The work plan included in Appendix II Technical Specification Slab Vapor Barrier
and Active Venting System is approved.

Be advised that this approval from the Brownfields Program does not waive any applicable requirement to obtain any
necessary permits, licenses or certifications for the above listed activities nor does it waive any requirement to comply
