Dear Mr. Fraimow:

Thank you for your initial interest in the North Carolina Brownfields Program for the
above referenced site. Per discussions with your consultant and in email correspondence with
you dated September 29, 2016, we understand you no longer wish to proceed within the
Brownfields Program at this time, due to the sale of the property to JW Industrial Group, LLC.
Therefore, the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has changed the
status of the above referenced project number from active eligible to “No Further Interest” (NFI).
If you feel this information is not complete or accurate, please contact us to discuss further. This
site remains a good candidate for the brownfields program. If in the future, should you need to
pursue a brownfield agreement on this site, please submit a new Brownfields Property
Application and signed affidavit. We appreciate your assistance in this matter.
