Based upon the three (3) Test Pits advanced in the region of the debris field, we
estimate that approximately 90-95% of the material found consisted of inert construction
debris (i.e. bricks, concrete, mortar, etc.). Further, our estimates are that less than 5%
of the material consisted of rubbish, and less than 5% consisted of biodegradable
material. Actual percentages may differ due to the non-homogenous variability of the
material discovered. Photographs of the test pits and materials discovered are shown
below.
