Dear Mr. Stokesbury:
The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Brownfields Program has complete the brownfields assessment phrase for the above referenced property. At this time, no additional indoor air vapor assessment activities are required. The next phrase is to complete the brownfields agreement
legal documents including: the Notice of Brownfields Property (NBP), Exhibit A the Brownfields Agreement (BFA), Summary Notice of Intent (SNI), Exhibit B the Plat Map, and Exhibit 2 the analytical
tables. Attached to the correspondence are draft land use restrictions (LURs) for the Brownfields Property.
Please review and comment on these as I continue working on the draft legal documents. In the meantime, please contact your surveyor to begin preparing the plat map. A checklist for the plat map is attached. Once
you have reviewed the draft LURs, we can schedule a conference call to discuss revisions or send me an
email with marked up edits. Thank you for your patience during the brownfields process.
