The Report was submitted by Hart & Hickman on behalf of 5518 and 5600 David Cox Road, LLC. This Report summarizes the findings of the 2023 methane monitoring activities conducted in accordance with the approved Environmental Management Plan dated April 11, 2014 (EMP) approved by the Brownfields Redevelopment Section. Review of the data indicates that methane concentrations within the landfill area remain relatively constant and have remained relatively stable since approximately April 2022. In addition, indoor and outdoor ambient air samples continue to show no detections of methane. Finally, the Report indicates that semi-annual monitoring will continue at the site. The BRS concurs with the summary and conclusions presented in the Report. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 910-796-7408, or via e-mail at samuel.watsongdeq.nc. gov .
