Dear Ms. Markey:
I am the Owner/Operator of SB Ellis, Inc. DBA Northgate Auto Service located at 1130 Club Boulevard in
Durham. Mid -Atlantic Associates, Inc. has requested that I provide this letter confirming the use of solvents at
the Northgate Auto Service facility. The only solvent we use is Mopar Brake Parts Cleaner. It comes in aerosol
cans and the label indicates it is non -chlorinated. This is the only solvent we have used since the May 2019 sale
of the property to NW Northgate Holdings, LLC, and for a considerable time before that. We are not aware of
any releases of this product or any other material from our operations since May 2019. If you have any
