The VIMP was prepared by Hanley Environmental, PLLC. DEQ Brownfields has determined that the VIMP satisfies the elements of DEQ Brownfields Vapor Mitigation Design Checklist and is approved. Consistent with Brownfields Agreement requirements, a crucial element of public health protection for this design is the professional engineer’s seal on these documents, attesting that the proposed design will effectively mitigate the potential for vapor intrusion on the property and safeguard public health. Furthermore, DEQ Brownfields reserves the authority to request confirmation of efficacy in the future. Please be advised that this design compliance review from DEQ Brownfields does not waive any applicable requirement to obtain any necessary permits, licenses or certifications which may be required from other state or local entities. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at (704) 661-0330, or via e-mail at Carolyn.Minnich@deq.nc.gov Sincerely, Carolyn F Minnich Brownfields Project Manager ec: David Hanley, Hanley Environmental, PLLC Caldwell Rose CRose@srenc.com Carol Van Buren Esq. cvanburen@vanburenlaw.com Daniel L.
