Dear Mr. Newton,

On behalf of Bumgarner Oil Company, Inc., Terraquest Environmental Consultants, P.C. is requesting
an extension of the deadline for report submittal for the release incident at Little Market Basket #1
in Statesville, NC. Pre-approval was requested and granted for the work, and following several
attempts, the property owner signed off on the necessary Underground Injection Control’s Notice of
Intent for air sparging. Terraquest installed pilot test wells on October 10 and 11, 2023. Pilot testing
is currently scheduled for November 13, 2023.

A report submittal deadline extension request until December 23, 2023 is requested.
