Dear Mr. Patrick: On August 2, 2023, the Underground Storage Tank Section of the Division of Waste Management,
Mooresville Regional Office, received the Groundwater Monitoring Report for the above-referenced site. This information has been reviewed and will remain in the UST Section’s files. Upon review, the Division has determined that you must collect groundwater samples from monitoring wells MW-1R and MW-7R in December
2023. These samples must be submitted to a North Carolina-certified laboratory for the appropriate analyses as set forth in the latest edition of the UST Section’s Assessment Guidelines. This information must be submitted in a letter report, which must be received by this office no later than January 31, 2024.
