ECS’s services were provided in general accordance with ECS proposal No. 49:32463P approved by 3245 Statesville Property, LLC on October 26, 2022. Project Information The subject property is located at 3239 and 3245 Statesville Avenue and 2128 and 2129 Whittington Street in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina (Figures 1 and 2) and is identified by the Mecklenburg County Parcel Identification Numbers 07705201, 07706303, 07706308, 07706309, and 07706313 and owned by DH Griffin Infrastructure, LLC. ECS recently submitted a Report of Environmental Assessment Services (ECS Project No. 17096-B, dated January 12, 2023). This report documented the collection and laboratory analysis of soil, groundwater, methane, and soil gas samples at various accessible locations on the subject property. The surveying of the top-of-casings of the monitoring wells installed as part of these activities, calculation of groundwater elevation data, and preparation of groundwater contour map was proposed to be included in the report; however, the results of the surveying activities had not been received by ECS at the time of submittal of the report. As such, ECS has prepared this addendum to provide the results of the monitoring well surveying, calculation of groundwater elevation data, and groundwater flow map. Scope of Services On December 20, 2022, Tidemark Land Services (Tidemark) vertically and horizontally surveyed the five monitoring wells previously installed at the site. The data provided by Tidemark is attached to this addendum. Using Tidemark’s data and the depth to water measurements collected during the sampling activities conducted on November 11, 2022, ECS calculated the groundwater elevation at each monitoring Report of Environmental Assessment Services Statesville Avenue Muti-Family Development 3239/3245 Statesville Avenue and 2128/2129 Whittington Street Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina ECS Project No. 49:17096-B February 15, 2023 2 well. Monitoring well construction details and the calculated groundwater elevations are provide in the attached Table 1. Using the calculated groundwater elevations, ECS prepared Figure 3 showing the inferred groundwater contours and flow direction. Based upon the surveyed elevations of the top-of-casing of each temporary monitoring well and the depth to water measurements measured on November 18, 2022, the inferred groundwater flow direction beneath the site flow is generally to the west and west-southwest.
