I will include this information with the file. It is fine to go ahead with filing the NRP. It should be done with a property transfer anyway. Once we get the receptor survey information a determination regarding risk classification will be made. In this case it will likely be low and if the NRP has already been filed, the No Further Action letter can be issued at that time. If you need anything else, let me know. Hi Carrie, The RP was able to track down the attached files for the 2008 UST Closure Report. Is it ok to proceed with filing the NRP (with soil & GW restrictions) before the LSA is completed? Please let me know if this may cause an issue with obtaining a future NFA determination if the Site risk is determined to be low based on the receptor survey/LSA results. Based on the conclusion portion submitted, sounds like they conducted the closure per requirements. Not sure what happened with submittal of the report. Sometimes things get lost in the mix. Hopefully a copy can be located and submitted for the file. Thank you for checking on it. Attached is the letter requesting the receptor survey portion of the LSA. If the site risk is determined to be low then the site will be eligible for site closure with NRP for both soil and groundwater. NRP is also required prior to property transfer. Let me know if you have any questions or need anything else. Have a great weekend. Hi Carrie, Please address the NORR for the Biggs automotive dealership to: Douglas B. Biggs Biggs Buick GMC 458 Argonne Dr Atlanta, Ga 30305 Douglas.biggs@colliers.com 404-273-3947 Mr. Biggs is trying to obtain a full copy of the 2008 UST Closure Report, and I’ll forward it to you upon receipt. As of now, I’ve only received the attached Conclusions page from the closure report & follow up letter - and the following statement from the environmental consultant (EPI) who performed the 2008 UST closure work: On December18,2008, EPI completed the UST Closure Report and Soil Sampling and found no contamination above NCDENR-UST Section Reportable Concentration Levels around and under the tank. Samples taken under the the fuel lines did find contaminate levels above Reportable Concentration Levels for petroleum hydrocarbons and also found benzene above the 15A NCAC 2L Groundwater samples.EPI recommended that a copy of the report be submitted to NCDENR-UST Section for review and guidance. We sent a copy of the report with contact information for the submittal. We were not informed if that report was submitted. I have attached the report conclusions and the remarks in the transmittal. Thanks, (Our Address Has Changed) Michael P. Hi Carrie / Sylvia, I wanted to follow up to confirm you received this Phase II ESA report for the Biggs auto dealership in Elizabeth City, NC. Also, if possible, can you please let me know when we might expect a NORR/response regarding the Phase II findings, as it may impact a pending real estate transaction. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Please let me know if you have any questions. (Our Address Has Changed) Michael P. The contamination appears to be associated with a release from the Site’s 2nd UST system which was removed in 2008. The facility ID number for the former UST was 00-0-0000020545. Please let me know if you have any questions or need anything else. We would also like to be copied on any future correspondence regarding additional assessment requirements.
