Charlotte, Mecklenburg County Brownfields Project Number 18038-14-060 Dear Mr. Combs, The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Brownfields Redevelopment Section received and reviewed the Vapor Intrusion Mitigation System Installation Completion Report for HD Charlotte Warehouse dated April 27, 2023 (Report) submitted on your behalf from Ms. Alexis McKenzie of Hart & Hickman, PC. Brownfields has reviewed the Report and evaluated the analytical data using the DEQ Risk Calculator. The results of this evaluation were below the DEQ thresholds for non-residential use when evaluating the
analytical data for the building slab. DEQ Brownfields has found this Report to be in compliance with Land Use Restriction 8 of the Notice of Brownfields Property and the previously approved Vapor Intrusion Mitigation Plan. DEQ Brownfields anticipates future submittal of pressure measurements and sampling data as outlined in the approved VIMP.
