Davis Industries, Inc Jim Davis, III, President 812 Arendell Street Morehead City, NC 28557 Re: GW Monitoring Report, April 2020 Handy House #3 6724 Hwy 70, Newport Carteret County Incident Number: 32840 Dear Mr. Davis: On April 30, 2020, the Division of Waste Management (DWM) received a Groundwater Monitoring Report, prepared on your behalf by Henry Nemargut Engineering Services. The report summarizes groundwater sampling activities conducted at the subject site. The DWM thanks you for this report. After review of this report, the DWM is in general agreement with the recommendations proposed to continue use of nutrient socks at this site. Use of bio-socks should be continued in the following monitoring wells: MW-2, MW-3 and MW-10. Additionally, the DWM requests that monitoring and reporting activities be continued on an annual basis. The following monitoring wells should be sampled during the next annual sampling event: MW-1, MW-2, MW-3, MW-10, and MW-15. The DWM requests that the next Groundwater Monitoring Report be submitted to the Division no later than May 1, 2021. Please submit a pre-approval authorization form before any work has been completed if State Trust Fund reimbursement is anticipated.
