(GRI) presents this information to complete the scope of work that was requested and approved as Task Authorization (TA) 10673-16 for the above referenced site. These activities were conducted in accordance with the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ) correspondence dated December 5, 2016. Please find enclosed the applicable site location map, site map and laboratory report for the above referenced site. On June 22, 2017, ground water samples were collected from MW-2, MW-7 and MW-8. The depths to ground water during the June 2017 sampling event ranged from 8.55 to 9.17 feet below the tops of well casings. The collected ground water samples were submitted for laboratory analyses of volatile organic compounds using EPA Method 6200B. Concentrations of requested method constituents that exceeded the Maximum Allowable Concentrations (MACs) specified in T15A NCAC 2L.0202 standards were reported in the ground water sample collected from MW-2, MW-7 and MW-8. The concentration of benzene reported in the ground water sample collected from MW-7 exceeded the GCL. Please see the attached laboratory report. Additionally, the BioSocks in MW-2 and MW-7 were removed and replaced. The BioSock installed in MW-8 was removed and not reinstalled. Please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned at (704) 845-4010 if you have any questions or require additional information.
