Dear Mr. Newton:

Based on the results of the November 2022 ground water sampling event and subsequent email
correspondence with you, the remediation system will remain shut down for the December 2022 –
February 2023 quarter. GRI personnel mobilized to the site on December 5, 2022 in order to winterize
the remediation system. The remediation system will remain off while GRI continues to monitor ground
water contamination.
