Dear Mr. Tucker:
The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Brownfields Program received
and reviewed the In -Situ Soil Characterization Work Plan (Work Plan) submitted by Hart &
Hickman, PC for the above referenced site dated April 22, 2021 and provided comments on April
28, 2021 and May 3, 2021. A revised Work Plan was submitted on May 4, 2021 with DEQ
comments incorporated; therefore, the Work Plan dated May 4, 2021 is approved.
Be advised that this approval from the Brownfields Program does not waive any applicable
requirement to obtain any necessary permits, licenses, or certifications for the above listed
activities nor does it waive any requirement to comply with applicable law for such activities. If
