Brownfields Project No. 19059-15-060 Dear Mr. Sorrell:
On May 13, 2021, A Notice of Brownfields Property was recorded on the above referenced Brownfields Property. On August 23, 2021, DEQ Brownfields Program received an email request to approve the installation of 3-4
wooden utility poles and 3 fiber/utility handholes on the front lawn on the above referenced Brownfields Property. This request was submitted on your behalf by Mr. Scott Brantely of Tower Engineering Professionals (TEP). In support of this request, DEQ Brownfields Program has received and reviewed a Soil Sampling Activities Report dated October 21, 2022 prepared by TEP. This document was submitted in accordance the recorded Notice of Brownfields Property Land Use Restriction No. 13.f as it relates to soil disturbance. Upon review of the Report, there was no evidence of a recent release observed during site visits or identified through the additional assessment. DEQ Brownfields Program approves the activities outlined in the August 23,
2022 email which includes work on the front lawn for utility pole installations. Please be advised that this approval from DEQ Brownfields does not waive any applicable requirement to obtain any necessary permits, licenses or certifications which may be required from other state or local entities.
