Observed one location where the MonoShield barrier had split at the top of a soil contact
wall (Photo 5). Site superintendent would make sure it was patched once barrier
installers were set-up.

V. PHOTOGRAPHS
Photo 1: Section of completed MonoShield Barrier installed.
Site inspection was performed as a drive-by training session so that two DEQ employees
could see MonoShield VIMS barrier being installed on a property. After checking in, the
Site superintendent walked the site with us. As pointed out previously, a split in a section
of VIIMS barrier was observed during the inspection and would be repaired once the
VIMS installers had finished setting up their equipment.
