Environmental Current Use of Property: Residential Structures on Property: New Structures Violation: No Vapor Mitigation Systems: Observed Vapor Mitigation Violation: No Use of Surface Water or Groundwater: Not Observed Water Use Violation: No Exposed Soils: Observed Exposed Soils Violation: No Summary: During the Site Inspection, observed sub-slab gravel, piping and TerraVent, MonoShield VIMS barrier, VIMS riser and monitoring point locations (Photos 1-4). Observed one location where the MonoShield barrier had split at the top of a soil contact wall (Photo 5). Site superintendent would make sure it was patched once barrier installers were set-up. Site inspection was performed as a drive-by training session so that two DEQ employees could see MonoShield VIMS barrier being installed on a property. After checking in, the Site superintendent walked the site with us. As pointed out previously, a split in a section of VIIMS barrier was observed during the inspection and would be repaired once the VIMS installers had finished setting up their equipment.
