Unable to closely inspect barrier as there was no one in the space by the time I arrived onsite, however, the sections of barrier, seams, terminations at columns, and at the surrounding concrete slab appeared to be in good condition. Stego Mastic had been used in addition to double-sided Stego Tack tape which alone is an acceptable method of sealing the VIMS barrier to concrete according to the manufacturer. PHOTOGRAPHS Photo 1: View of vapor barrier, taped seams and columns taken from front of tenant space bordering Dunavant St. Performed Site Inspection following H&H barrier inspection earlier in the day as described previously. No workers were onsite, so I was unable to enter the future retail space at the time of the inspection. I contacted the H&H engineer following the DEQ inspection, and the engineer indicated that the barrier installation had passed H&H’s inspection. Photo 3: The Stego Wrap VIMS barrier was then adhered to the side of the adjacent slab/overlapped barrier material using double-sided Stego Tack tape, with Stego Mastic also used to seal the edge.
