PHOTOGRAPHS Photo 1: Center of tenant space after pulling back a section of the VIMS barrier to check the condition of the washed stone base. The Site Inspection was performed to check on the progress of the work being performed within the future tenant space prior to completion of VIMS barrier within the pour-back area. It appeared that the concrete and exposed soil had been removed or lowered below the barrier, and a significant amount of clean washed stone had been respread below the VIMS barrier (Photos 1 – 3). There were however some areas along the perimeter of the pour-back area where there was very little to no stone present (Photos 4 & 5). In addition, there is a small vestibule area to the east of the enclosed tenant space where the VIMS piping and sub-slab monitoring point are present, however, there is no stone or VIMS barrier installed yet. The VIMS for this area will need to be completed prior to the final slab being poured. Following the inspection, the Engineer Of Record was notified of our findings in a July 15, 2022 email, although no recommendations on how to proceed were made and it was left to the engineers discretion.
