Picture 5: Kleen-Rite solvent filter system consists
of three filtering columns that contain six carbon
cartridge filters each.

Picture 7: Solvent and wastewater treatment unit
(WWTU) filter change log was posted on the wall
adjacent solvent filter system. The most recent
WWTU filter change occurred on July 15, 2012.

Picture 6: The Kleen-Rite solvent filtering system
is installed within a metal spill containment pan.

Picture 8: Galaxy Mister, WWTU, is located in
the spill containment pan that is installed under
and around the dry cleaning machines. The
misting nozzle is mounted on the roof.

Picture 9: Two complete sets of replacement
filters for the Galaxy Mister were observed on the
day of the inspection.

Picture 11: A 55-gallon drum approximately ½ full
of solvent waste is stored in spill containment with
a 66 gallon capacity. The spill containment was
equipped with a 55-gallon expandable bladder.

Picture 10: Clothes press vacuum pump
condensate is collected and treated in the Galaxy
Mister. The pump is located in the boiler room.

Picture 12: A partially full 55-gallon drum of
Ecosolve dry cleaning solvent was stored in spill
containment with a 66 gallon capacity.

clearly posted near a telephone at the front of the
facility.

Picture 15: The facility collects spotting table
waste an periodically empties the collection
container into the hazardous waste drums.
Picture 14: Absorbent, emergency spill, clean-up
materials were stored near the Marvel PS-55.

Picture 16: Reclaimer dryers are clearly posted
with precautions for working with DF2000 (or
Ecosolve), which is a combustible solvent with a
flashpoint of 142° F.
