Old Pineville Road Building 1013, 1014 and 1015 Charlotte, Mecklenburg County Brownfields Project No. 10061-06-060 Dear Mr. Bender The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Brownfields Program received and reviewed the Vapor Intrusion Mitigation System Installation Completion Report- Building 1013, 1014 and 1015 (Report) dated June 30, 2022 submitted on your behalf by Ms. Alexis McKenzie, PE of Hart & Hickman, PC. This Report was submitted only for the above referenced unit on the Old Pineville Road Brownfields Property. DEQ Brownfields understands these units have been developed by Ryan Homes, an NVR, Inc. in accordance with the
DEQ Brownfields approved Vapor Intrusion Mitigation Plan, Revision 1 dated January 18, 2021 (VIMP). DEQ Brownfields reviewed the analytical data and pressure monitoring data provided in the Report, and evaluated
the analytical data using the DEQ Risk Calculator. The results of this evaluation were below the DEQ thresholds for residential use. Based on the available data, DEQ Brownfields has determined that the above referenced units are currently in compliance with Land Use Restriction 4.a. of the Notice of Brownfields Property.
DEQ Brownfields understands ongoing monitoring and assessment shall be conducted in accordance with the VIMP. Please be advised that this compliance review from DEQ Brownfields does not waive any applicable requirement to obtain any necessary permits, licenses or certifications which may be required from other state or local entities.
