The mixed-use building bordering Blowing Rock Road has first floor retail spaces with
three stories of apartments over them (Photos 1, 2 and 4-7). The entrance to the parking
garage is near the center of the building with access from Blowing Rock Road (Photos 4
and 5). A second (detached) four story apartment building was constructed on the
southern corner of the property and is located on the opposite side of Boone Creek from
the larger mixed-use building (Photo 3).

Photo 1: View of mixed-use building facing south across Blowing Rock Road.
A drive-by Site Inspection was performed while waiting for drillers and the environmental
consultant to arrive at another nearby Brownfields property. There are no VIMS present
on the property as stated previously, and housekeeping on the Brownfield property
appeared good. Although there are first floor retail spaces for lease along the ground
floor, none of them appeared occupied at the time of the Site Inspection (Photos 6 and 7).
