IV. Inspector Comments
V. PHOTOGRAPHS
Onsite to attend VIMS barrier inspection performed by H&H. Arrived at 11:00 as
originally scheduled, met Julianna from H&H on-site, however, vapor barrier taping not
complered. We were asked to return at 2:00 PM for final barrier inspection. Left site and
returned at 2:00.
The VIMP for this site indicates that only VaporBlock 20 is to be installed, with no system
(including passive), installed. Significant sealing still required during return trip where
barrier tape pulling apart, and along some perimeter areas. Stayed onsite observing
vapor barrier sealing until H&H approved barrier installation.

Photo 1: Photo of VIMS barrier during first mobilization. A second mobilization was required at
2:00 PM due to incomplete taping of barrier.
Photo 2: VaporBlock 20 used as VI barrier. Although typically installed with colored side up,
there is nothing in RAVENS Installation guidelines requiring it to be installed this way.
Photo 3: VaporBoot Tape used to seal VI barrier around sub-slab utility penetrations.
