Several of the buildings on the brownfields parcel are currently in use (two breweries and a furniture distribution warehouse Photos 3-7, 9 and 10), while there are others that are not in use (Photos 2 and 11). Summary: N/A Brownfields Inspection Report: Lexington Home Brands Plant No.1, 10054-06-029 01/26/2022 1:57 PM Page 3 of 9 Use of Basements: Observed Basement Violation: No Storage of Chemicals: Not Observed Chemical Violation: No Groundwater Monitoring Wells: Observed Monitoring Well Violation: No Current Exposure to Public/Public Risk: Summary: Sub-grade “basement” within Goose and the Monkey Brew House observed during the Site Inspection (Photo 5). There are most likely additional sub grade rooms within the numerous buildings located on the property that were not identified without having access to building interiors. Summary: N/A Condition: Summary: Former monitoring well vaults were observed on the property during the site inspection (Photo 8). Did not attempt to open well vaults to determine if they had been abandoned while performing the inspection. No risk to the public observed at the time of the site inspection. Railroad St. on the Brownfields property. As noted in Use of Basements previously, was not able to access the interior of a few of the buildings present during the site inspection. As a result, there may be basements, chemical storage, etc., that were present at the time of the inspection that was not identified.
