The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Brownfields Program received
and reviewed the Brownfields Assessment Work Plan submitted by Hart & Hickman for the above
referenced site dated February 7, 2020. Upon review, the Brownfields Assessment Work Plan is
approved.

Be advised that this approval from the Brownfields Program does not waive any applicable
requirement to obtain any necessary permits, licenses, or certifications for the above listed
activities nor does it waive any requirement to comply with applicable law for such activities.
Further, note that if soil export is planned, additional assessment will be required of on-site soils
