Dear Mr. Ingalls:
On June 8, 2009, the North Carolina Department of Environmental and Natural Resources
(DENR) received a Brownfields Assessment Work Plan for the above referenced site. The work plan is
approved with the following additions:

Section 3.1 Soil Vapor Sampling
• Allow 24 hour drying time for probe seal (bentonite) prior to sampling
• Additional field parameters to collect
1. Measure ambient and indoor temperature at the start, middle, and end of the sampling
2. Report building floor area and volume
