The residence was reportedly built in 1954. The location of the residence is indicated on Figure 1. An Aerial of the house is attached as Figure 2. The Location of the UST is indicated on Figure 3. A report was prepared by others for this site and a NRP was submitted. A reading of the report indicates the 750-gallon UST is in the same location as the 250-gallon UST reported by others. However the soils found at the site were not as described. On April 10, 2020 Subsequent to the demolition of the residence the UST was removed Under Supervision of TGES by David Spaine of Diversid Inc. The UST was heavy gauge steel and showed no signs of corrosion. The soil was a dry Red Brown Sandy Silt and had no odor or staining. Bedrock was not encountered. A sample was collected in the center of the excavation at 6.5 below grade. The samples were submitted to Waypoint Analytical for analysis by EPA Methods 5030 and 3550 (TPH GRO and DRO). The sample was non -detect by both methods. The complete analyses are attached in Appendix A. Mrs. Lucinda Lucas and Thompson Geologic request the NRP that was previously placed on this property with sampling be revoked.
